We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Consulting Engineer – SAP Technical Consulting who is passionate about developing complex solutions for strategic customers using a data-centric security for SAP product line. You will help define solution strategy, drive design and technical implementation, and architect innovative solutions. You will work on diverse projects from gathering customer requirements to implementing the solution, providing Information Security and Compliance solutions for Global 2000 companies. This position requires excellent client services and technical skills; expertise with architecture, design, and implementation of information security software, identity and access management systems, or enterprise software, and documentation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers to design solutions involving information security and compliance needs on SAP.
• Provide in-depth technical knowledge and development expertise during pilot, proof of concept, or enterprise-wide deployment.
• Lead the integration effort and own the system and data integration architecture for SAP.
• Install and configure software at client premises.
• Research and implement new functionality of the SAP Data Security Product Suite for customer implementations.
• Design specifications for new custom solutions based on customer requirements.
• Develop, configure, and implement the solution as per standards to meet customer requirements.
• Develop unit test plans and create test cases based on customer landscapes.
• Train customers to instrument policies and secure SAP data at various data access points and tools.
• Help create training and other end-user documentation.
• Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure compatibility with components that interface with the SAP Data Security Product Suite.
• Ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
• Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.

Mandatory Skills

• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of SAP best practices, SAP architecture, and the technical data flow of SAP business processes.
• Hands-on with RICEFW development and new ABAP syntax as needed to support project timelines and objectives.
• Solid experience in ABAP development with a good understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, MM, PP, QM, FI, and SD.
• Extensive development experience using ABAP Objects, CDS Views, HANA SQL programming, SAP Fiori, and OData.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP based design and development and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model.
• Expert in analyzing, creating system specifications, developing tests, and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies.

Preferred Background

Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, Data Masking, and Data Anonymization techniques is a huge plus. Java-based development and experience working with interfaces such as Java connectors and REST APIs communicating with non-SAP applications are a plus.
